PSL has more than 24 years in designing innovative high sensitivity low noise imaging solutions for OEMs. Our technology is based around cooled CCD, Intensified CCD/CMOS cameras and more recently EMCCD cameras.   The experience acquired in multiple application domains allows us to understand clients needs and deliver an appropriate solution from concept, prototyping to volume manufacturing. A proven design fibre optic coupling allows us to combine state of art sensors with custom scintillator deposition, and deliver X-ray cameras tailored to specific clients needs from <100 eV up to >1MeV operation.

Thanks to a multi sensor operating platform, we extend the field of view to large area formats (360 degree coverage for instance) and / or broadening spectral range. The data coming out of each sensor is multiplexed and permits real time acquisition with increase spatial / spectral resolution without compromising acquisition speed.

Special FPGA / firmware development allows on board processing tasks such as flat field, offset, gain corrections as well as image fusion that would penalize frame rate acquisition otherwise.

Cameras are easily interfaced into third party software thanks to a comprehensive API that can include application specific embedded processing combined with remote acquisition controls.

PSL designs cooled CCD / ICCD / EMCCD detector solutions for multiple environmental operations: in vacuum, atmospheric to zero G conditions, low consumption. We offer custom board designed to fit reduced geometry as well as ISO9000 or EMC standards. We can also offer vibration, temp cycling and other hazardous environment testing.
